    • Whether with your drivers or your customers, communicate quickly and easily. Safety protocols, site information for your drivers etc. allow you to have a single communication tool

You need a new driver application or you want to implement Dashdoc for your fleet:

How to give your drivers access to the mobile application?

Setting up the application

  1. Create a driver profile* from My Fleet > My Drivers

  2. Ask your driver to download the mobile application

  3. Share the invitation code available from "My Fleet" on your web portal

*Any additional drivers added to your contract will be charged to you, please refer to your contract for more information.

Train your drivers

Dashdoc provides you with video and handwritten materials to help you train your drivers. Click below to access these courses :

Pilot the adoption of the application by your teams

Thanks to the driver dashboard (available from My Fleet > My Drivers > Dashboard) you can access :

  • The number of drivers created compared to the number of drivers actually registered

  • The active drivers in the last week

  • The number of completed transports

  • the status of the update

This data can be exported and allows you to ensure a smooth follow-up of the execution.

Good practices and tips

Load break management

From the operation, you have the possibility to make breaks and to assign several drivers or vehicles on the same mission. Your drivers can also do this by transmitting a transport code to the second driver taking over.

💡 Simplified load break management

🚛 Driver autonomy

Read more about breakages on Dashdoc :

My driver has validated his loading/delivery too quickly. What should I do ?

Your drivers can sometimes validate too quickly certain transport steps and are then unable to go back directly from their application. You can unblock them very simply from the operation by cancelling the event that was performed too quickly.

To do this, you need to go to the transport in question and click on "Mark not completed". The update will then be done automatically on the driver's application and the driver can redo the event.

Find signatories

Signatories are linked to pick-up and delivery addresses and are created by your drivers. They are the ones who will sign the electronic eCMR on site. You can manage and modify them via the web portal from your address book.

To find out more about the signatories on Dashdoc, please see the help centre article:

Manage your drivers' observations

In case of disputes, your drivers can enter observations from the mobile application. These observations allow you to have traces of the unforeseen events which can occur on your transports.

In your finished transports, Dashdoc allows you, thanks to the control labels, to have the vision on these observations issued by your drivers and to check the impacted transports.

Reminder of the particular missions possible with Dashdoc

1 - Rental order / Rental

From the web portal, you can create rental assignments and management orders. The application is then simplified and allows the driver to enter his start and end times and his breaks.

🚛 To create an order form on Dashdoc, go to New Transport > Add goods > Rental

2 - ADR

With Dashdoc, create your electronic consignment notes while respecting the constraints of ADR transport. On the web portal or the mobile application, select "Dangerous goods" and enter the UN code of the goods.

3 - IDTF loads transport

Dashdoc gives you the possibility to create consignment notes containing all the information required for IDTF goods transport . To do this :

  • Activate the functionality in Your Settings > Features > Activating a certified standard for feed transport. Add the certification name and number.

  • Categorize your vehicle in "My fleet", "Trailer used for IDTF loads"

  • Create your transport in New Transport > Goods > IDTF Bulk

  • Export your history via My fleet > My equipment > Traçability History > Export

4 - Multi-compartment

Dashdoc allows you to manage multi-compartment shipments on the mobile application and therefore to have a detailed follow-up of the volumes/quantities of goods loaded/unloaded in each compartment. For more information, click on the link below :

5 - Multi pick-up / Multi delivery

With the mobile application, you have the possibility of carrying out transports with several pick-ups or deliveries. The driver application will remain essentially the same as for a simple transport, with more steps for the driver to validate.

6 - Rounds

Manage your rounds directly on Dashdoc when creating your transports.

🚛 To do this, go to New transport > Goods > Specificities > Tours / Rotations.

7 - Trips

New on Dashdoc: you can now create trips via your web portal! Group several transport orders on one and the same trip to optimize your driver's journey.

Thanks to the trips :

  • Optimize your drivers' routes

  • Have an informed view of your profitability indicators

Up to 20 transports at the same time on the mobile application

You have the possibility to display 40 current transports on the driver application in the limit of 6 month period. This allows your driver to have a simplified view of his current transports and to have a better use of the application.

The finished transport are deleted from the mobile app after 8 days.
