Dashdoc offers you a variety of detailed reports to analyze your fleet activity and operations.

Would you like access to this new feature?

1. Where to find your reports

To access your reports, go to the left-hand sidebar and select:

Tools and Management > Reports

There, you'll find a submenu with different types of reports that you can create and view based on the information you need.

2. Types of Reports Available Revenue Monitoring

Dashdoc provides several reports, each focused on a specific aspect of your operations:

  • General Report: Displays overall information on your revenue, based on transport data.

  • Subcontracting: This report highlights a key figure: the share of transports carried out with your own fleet (trucks and drivers) versus those subcontracted to external carriers.

    Example:

70% completed with your internal fleet, 30% subcontracted.

  • Drivers: Presents individual data per driver.

  • Vehicles: This report is primarily based on kilometers traveled but also includes revenue-related data per vehicle.

  • Invoicing: Shows the billed revenue, based on issued invoices and credit notes. You can also view revenue per billing item, as well as overdue payments.

Report Updates

  • Invoicing reports: These are updated more frequently — data is refreshed every night and again at 5 p.m. (France time).

  • Other reports: Most reports in Dashdoc are updated once daily, at night. Data is automatically refreshed with the latest available information on transports and costs.

3. Using Filters to Customize Your Reports

Filters allow you to tailor the displayed information to your needs. By default, some general filters are applied, but you can modify them or add others for a more detailed view.

Filters in the General Report

  • The period is based on the start date of the activity (start of loading or date of resumption after a break)

  • By default, the previous month is selected.

  • You can adjust the filters to include or exclude transport statuses, product types, and more.

Filters in Invoicing Reports

  • The default period is also the previous month.

  • You can filter by customer to invoice, invoicing status, product type, and other relevant criteria.

Filters in Other Reports

  • In the driver, vehicle, or subcontracting reports, filters adjust dynamically based on the type of data displayed.

4. Saving Custom Views

To quickly access your personalized reports, you can save views with the filters you've applied:

  1. Once your filters are adjusted and the desired information is displayed, click on the disk icon (save view).

  2. Give the view a clear and descriptive name.

  3. The next time you want to access that specific report, simply select the saved name to retrieve the full configuration with filters applied.

This helps you save time and keep an organized view of the reports most relevant to your operations.

5. Key Information on Revenue and Costs

  • Displayed revenues are excluding taxes (net of VAT).

  • You can choose to show revenues with or without the fuel surcharge.

  • By default, canceled or refused transports are excluded to avoid skewing billable revenue.

  • Purchase costs are not deducted in tables by client or keyword.

6. Exporting and Saving Your Reports

Each report can be exported in different formats:

  • CSV

  • XLSX (Excel)

  • PNG (image)

To export:

  1. Select the metrics you want to display (revenue, fuel surcharge, number of transports, etc.).

  2. Click the export icon at the top right of the table.

You can save your filters to quickly access your customized views in future sessions.

Differences Between Export Types

  • The standard export respects modifications made to the table (such as resizing columns).

  • The raw data export displays the table in its original state, without visible modifications.

7. Summary and Recommendations

With Dashdoc, customizing and analyzing your reports is simple and flexible. Use filters to tailor reports to your specific needs and make informed decisions based on reliable data.
