👷You can save your safety protocols in Dashdoc for each of your logistics points.
As soon as a shipment has this logistics point set as its pickup or delivery point, the trucker will receive the protocol upon arrival on site and must confirm that they have read and understood the safety protocol before continuing !
☝️ Feature available only for your own fleet.
For your chartered shipments, you can send the protocol in the documents attached to the shipment if you wish.
How to configure your security protocols ?
On the Dashdoc web platform:
Either from the “Address Book” then “Logistics Points” or from the details of a shipment by clicking on the logistics point in question.
Select a logistics point and click on it to open the details.
In the “Safety Protocol” section, you can drag and drop the desired document or select it from your computer's directories.
Click “Save” to confirm the addition.
You can then modify or delete it using the buttons next to the uploaded document.
💡 Only one security protocol can be added to a logistics point. If you have several, you will need to group them together in the same file so that they can be added.
Validation of safety protocols by truckers
👷When the trucker passes through a loading or delivery site with a security protocol entered on Dashdoc, they will automatically access the document before being able to report their arrival on site.
In addition, it is also possible to view and download the safety protocol associated with a logistics point from the Dashdoc mobile application:
☝️Truckers do not need to validate safety protocols each time they visit a site.
Once the trucker confirms that they have taken note of the safety protocol, they will need to re-validate it one week later (7 rolling days), unless the protocol has been updated in the meantime. In this case, the trucker must confirm that they have read the new safety protocol the next time they visit the site in question.
**Storage management:** Protocols are automatically deleted from the trucker's device once the transport is complete, preventing files from accumulating.
Safety protocols and chartering
When chartering transport with a logistics point that has a safety protocol:
A direct link to the safety protocol is provided in the charter confirmation email.
The driver will not be automatically asked to validate the protocol upon arrival on site (unlike transports using the company's own fleet).
