✨ How do I ask for a quote in Dashdoc?

For all your recurring flows, allocating transport orders allows you to compare offers/quotes given upstream by your service providers, and to allocate your transport order in one click.

Thanks to the quote request, you can now compare several carriers simultaneously for a specific order, comparing at a glance the rates and availability dates they offer.

No more email exchanges and loss of information, each member of your team has access to current requests and their progress in real time.

Centralized feedback on the Dashdoc platform ensures that you choose the suitable service provider, taking into account rates and deadlines.

📦 How to send a quote request?

From your "To assign", go to the order and choose assign:

You can then send your quote request to up to 8 service providers, adding a suggested price and/or a comment if needed:

🎉 Congratulations! Your quote request has been sent. Now you just have to wait for the feedback from the carriers you contacted:

⏰ Follow up of your current quote requests?

Each selected service provider receives an email with a link, allowing them to view the details of the transport order:

He will be notified in particular of:

  • the number of carriers contacted

  • the details of the assignment for which he is being contacted

He now can decide:

  1. not to enter a quote,

  2. or to enter a quote

  3. to propose a delivery date

  4. to add any additional information he considers necessary

You will be able to monitor the status of your quote request:

When you click the details of your order, you will find the details of the returns of the suppliers you contacted, as well as their comments:
