Dashdoc makes it easy to control your goods so you can invoice quickly and accurately!

🚀 Integrated tools to make it easier for you to control :

  • Automatic reading of weighing slip numbers and weights

  • Control assistance badges to help you quickly identify the shipments you need to check

📦 Goods in Dashdoc

In the detailed view of your transport, under the insert of the loading / delivery point, you will find the details of your goods to be delivered.

How are the goods presented?

1 - When the loading / delivery has not yet started:

The insert is grayed out. You will find the nature of the goods provided, and the weight provided in the first column.

2 - When loading/delivery is complete:

The insert is green, you find the nature of the goods loaded (confirmed by the driver at the time of loading / delivery). Appear in neighbouring columns: the weight initially planned vs the actual weight loaded or delivered. Reading is made easier, and you can control your transport in the blink of an eye.

  • Display for rounds :

    • If the goods are different from one round to another, the types of goods will be displayed one after the other on the right.

      ex: "Sand, gravel"

    • The "expected" column will show the total weight of the planned round, and in the "loaded" (See "1" on the picture below) / "delivered" (See "2" on the picture below) column, the actual weights recorded by the drivers.

    • Drivers can choose in the mobile application if the weight is for the loaded or the delivered goods. (If this is not the case, contact the support team to make sure you have the latest version of the rotations).

    • You can also add an extra round if the driver has forgotten it. (See "3" on the picture below).

  • Display in case of goods scan:

The planned goods will appear in the first column and to their right the actual loaded/delivered with the associated status (Scanned, scanned not loaded, Not loaded, Not scanned and loaded).

Edit goods:

Depending on the transport status, you can edit the transport goods.

If the transport has not yet started, you will be taken to a screen stating that you are editing the planned goods.

If the transport has started, then it will be the goods loaded / delivered.

Currently, in Dashdoc, if a shipment is in finished status with no delivered weight indicated, you can't add one directly.

In this case, we suggest that you create a shipment by clicking on "add a shipment". Planned and delivered goods will appear on two different lines.

🟨 Control assistance badges

In the completed transport tab, you now have access to many badges to help you get to the heart of your transport checks.

Here you'll find the number of transports :

  • without price

  • with observations

  • without CMR / LV *

  • with CMR / LV to be checked

  • with weight to check (see Automatic weight comparison section)

  • without customer to bill (New: see section Changing customers to bill)

  • modified by the driver (New: see Checking modifications made by your drivers)

By clicking on the badges you are interested in, you will be taken to a filtered view containing only the shipments concerned.

*CMR / LV to check: Your drivers may sometimes register documents (weighing tickets, etc.) in their mobile application as paper CMRs, when in fact they are not. The shipments in question therefore have no consignment note.

In order to successfully identify these high-risk transports, we have developed CMR photo recognition.

If the document photographed does not appear to be a consignment note :

  1. Your driver will have to confirm from his mobile application that the photo loaded from his mobile is indeed a consignment note (to avoid errors).

  2. The shipment will be identified as possibly containing a document error in the web portal.

⏱ Automatic comparison of the real driver's weight vs the weight on the weighing ticket

To facilitate the control of the good's weight transported, Dashdoc has developed the intelligent reading of the weigh ticket.

But what is it?

We identify if the weight recorded by the driver in the application at the time of loading/delivery is different from the actual loaded/delivered weight of the weighing tickets (photographed by the driver and associated with the transport order).

If a discrepancy exists, the shipment in question will be identified as a "verify weight" shipment.

The automatic reading of weighing tickets is possible thanks to the artificial intelligence developed by our teams.

By clicking on the "weight to check" badge in the Completed shipments view, you access all the shipments for which there seems to be a weight discrepancy.

ex below: the badge "166 with weight to be checked" is displayed, by clicking on it you will access these 166 transports

In the detailed view of the transport, under the details of the loading and delivery points, you will find the information concerning the goods and the potential alerts indicating deviations in the following way :

*here, the error message indicates that the loaded weight seems different from the weight present on the weighing ticket.

By clicking on the goods, you will have access to the following screen which will allow you to modify the loaded weight

Once the weight has been changed, the discrepancy message will change to tell you that the total weight loaded appears to line up with the weight on the scale ticket.

P.I: This functionality does not yet apply to rounds with several weighing tickets in a single transport.

🏷 Check weighing ticket numbers

For some shipments, you may need to enter the weighing ticket numbers in the document title. You can then check and, if necessary, modify the reference entered by the driver via his mobile application.

To help you with this verification, Dashdoc automatically detects the weighing ticket number that appears on the photo and displays it in two places. You can then replace the reference given by the driver with the detected number.

1) Simply open your document :

  1. Check the weighing ticket number

  2. Check that the number automatically detected by Dashdoc matches (There may be discrepancies, but artificial intelligence is not correct in all cases)

  3. You can name the document with this detected reference number

  4. Weighing ticket number appears as document title

2) From the document editing window

  1. Click on modify document

  2. Check that the reference read corresponds to the reference on the weighing ticket.

  3. If it is correct, click on "Add" so that the number read becomes the document name.

  4. The weighing ticket number replaces the document reference name.

This allows you to check that the references are correct.

For your information, you can also retrieve these fields via API.

👨 Modification of customers to be invoiced

You may need to change the customer to be invoiced for your shipments:

  • if you wish to invoice a company other than the principal of your shipment

  • If your shipment does not have a customer to invoice.

    • To find the shipments concerned, use the "no billable customer" filter and the billable customer column.

You can modify your customers to be billed en masse by clicking on "update customer to be billed" in "More actions" :

🚚 Checking changes made by your drivers to a transport order

Your truckers can now modify loading or delivery point information from their mobile applications.

They can also add or delete loading/delivery points.

Dashdoc lets you easily control transports modified by your truckers via a badge available from the Transport view in the Completed category.

🖊️ Edit data

You can modify the following data on a completed shipment in order to validate the billing process:

  • Customer

  • Loading and delivery addresses

  • References

  • Goods (type, weight, length, etc.)

  • Loading and delivery dates and times

The changes will not be made on the e-cmr, but this will allow you to bill the correct data…
