How to add, modify or delete a paperless document to a transport file in Dashdoc?

Dashdoc offers the possibility to add documents to a transport file, either in the web portal or in the mobile app by your drivers.

It is also possible to modify or delete them in the web portal.

🖥️ Add a document and change its name and visibility in the web platform

  1. Click on a transport, select “click here” (under Documents and photos).

  2. Add the desired document (Word, Excel, .pdf, .png, .jpg, .jpeg.).

  3. Indicate the type of file (CMR, Delivery note, Transport order, weighing slip, Invoice or Other).

  4. You can now enter the document reference (for example, the number of a delivery note). You can also choose who you share this document with, in order to limit its visibility.

  5. Click “Save”.

If you want to change the document category, reference or visibility, click the “edit” symbol of the document.

New: when the signature mode chosen by the driver is “on paper”, the paperless waybill is deactivated.

📱 Add a document in the mobile app

Drivers can add photos from the mobile app at any stage of the transport validation workflow, even on a completed transport.

By default, photos taken by the driver via his mobile app are only visible to the carrier, the ordering party and the site (pick-up/delivery) where the photo was taken.

It is now possible to enter the reference number of the document:
