Would you like to take a closer look at your business and make informed choices to optimize your profitability or your transport budget ?

Dashdoc's customized reports are made for you!

The reports allow you to draw conclusions from your operational results and to make the strategic decisions necessary to optimize your activity, both on your own and chartered activity.

🤓 N.B: Dashdoc lets you create individual, customizable activity reports. Each report is unique and saved by user and account. (Two dispatchers in the same company will each have their own reports.)

Managing profitability and customer balance : What reports are available ?

Do you run your own transport operations and need to take a closer look at the cost and optimization of your transport management to get a clear view of your profitability?

1 - Manage your profitability

Dashdoc lets you generate the following reports:

  • Turnover

    • by driver / vehicle / trailer / type of transport (e.g. tipper activity)

  • Distance covered*

    • per driver / vehicle / trailer / transport type (e.g. tipper activity)

  • Sales per km

    • driver / vehicle / trailer / type of transport (e.g. tipper activity)

2 - Managing customer dependency

You work with a portfolio of customers, and their share of TO can vary.

To remain a healthy business and avoid putting yourself at risk, it's a good idea to keep an eye on your customer dependency!

Calculate :

  • Turnover per shipper

  • Distance traveled per shipper

  • Turnover per km and per shipper

3 - Managing your transport budget: What reports are available ?

Do you charter carriers and want to have a clear idea of how your transport budget is distributed ?

You can create reports to analyze your chartering activity.

You can analyze :

  • transportation costs

    • per chartered carrier

  • number of orders created

    • per chartered carrier

What data are included in these reports?

These reports are based on your transport data. To calculate your invoiced turnover, you can use the billing reports, available in Reports > Billing.

Report data is updated automatically every evening.

E.g.: if a distance or price changes, it will be taken into account the next day.

If you wish to have an up-to-date report, simply modify a filter and the data will be updated.

1- Data used:

  • Own transport : all transport is taken into account, whether simple or complex, as well as archived transport. Only cancelled, deleted and refused shipments are excluded. Use the filters to select shipments according to their status.

Turnover = Invoiced transport price - Purchase costs

  • Charter orders: only completed and simple orders (A→B) are taken into account.

Turnover = Invoiced price ? Final price? Agreed price?

2- Dividing turnover

In the case of transport using several means of transport, Dashdoc divides the turnover in proportion to kilometers.

Dashdoc uses the estimated distance of the shipment up to completion. The breakdown of turnover will then be updated using the actual distance (telematics feedback).

To access this data, go to the "Means" box in the transport details :

You can then access the breakdown details by clicking on "Modify" and hovering your mouse over the box.

You will then have two calculation options:

  • Pro rata calculation of kilometers, which will be done automatically on your transports with breaks.

  • If you don't like the automatic allocation, you can change it manually. The total of your manual allocation must equal 100%. Note that if the shipment is modified, the manual allocation will remain the same.

✅ You can always change the calculation mode at any stage of the journey.
