Are you looking to optimize your routes by increasing your sales per driver and reducing your empty kilometers?

Our route optimization feature is just what you need!

- Organize your trips to minimize the number of kilometers you travel

- Simulate driver days to identify alerts: empty kilometers 🚚, delays 🔴

- Estimate your drivers' driving time from the order pool ⏲️

Organize your trips to minimize the number of kilometers you travel

From the Dashdoc schedule, select the transports to be grouped in the same trip, and click on "Create a trip". You can then choose to minimize the distance traveled: our artificial intelligence will optimize the order of activities to reduce the kilometers traveled.

This option is only available for pallet transport.

Simulate a driver's day (empty kilometres, delays, etc.)

To run the simulation: from the driver schedule, right-click on a driver and choose ‘View day details’.

This gives you a detailed overview of your driver's day:

During the day, you can easily compare actual results with the forecast, and check the impact of any unforeseen events on the rest of your driver's tour.

Estimate the driving time of your rounds

From the schedule, you can display the distance and estimated driving time in the control well. This information will be useful for planning your routes.

When you combine several journeys within a trip, the distance and estimated driving time for the whole trip are also displayed. By rearranging the activities on your journey using the map, this data will be recalculated, allowing you to check that your changes are optimizing the driver's journey.

Choose the best option for planning a journey

Do you have an order coming in at the end of the day after your schedule has been finalized?

You can easily simulate the transport schedule for each of your drivers. At a glance, you can see the potential impact of this additional transport on each of your drivers: additional distance, additional driving time. All you have to do is choose the best option for you!

To do this, from the planning control panel :

  • click and drag the required transport from the control well to the ‘Planning simulation’ area at the top of the screen

  • enter the date on which you want to place the transport

Dashdoc then simulates the additional load for each driver, if this transport were added at the end of their day! By clicking on a driver's card, you can access the calculation details on the right-hand side of the window. Make your choice, and click on ‘Plan’ to confirm the addition of the mission to this driver.
