Click on the “+” to add a break between activities
Indicate a break address
You can subcontract or send the delivery to another trucker
You can now delete a break by clicking on the small trash can.
✅ Validate the break or the recovery on Dashdoc
When a shipment contains a break, at least two drivers are involved. Each driver receives his part of the mission and the corresponding steps. The second part of the shipment is blocked until the first part has been completed in the application.
To validate a shipment with a load break with Dashdoc :
The first driver receives the notification of the mission, validates the loading and then validates the stage of the load break:
The second driver receives the notification of the mission. He cannot validate the resumption of the load break until the first driver has validated his part of the trip on the Dashdoc application :
Then the second driver validates the load takeover and finishes the delivery
📱 Create a break from the mobile application
It is also possible for a driver to break a load from the Dashdoc mobile app :
The first driver selects a stage of the transport and clicks on “Assign the transport to another driver”. He communicates the transport code via SMS, WhatsApp etc. to the driver who will take over the transport:
Sometimes it is not known in advance who will take over the transport. In this case, the driver can write down the transport code on a document and leave it in the trailer for the next driver.
2. The second driver clicks on “New transport” and then “Retrieve a consignment note by code”. He enters the code of the transport and has access to the consignment note on the Dashdoc application:
