Your customer wants to receive the documents related to the invoiced shipments, you can now send them everything from Dashdoc directly!
What are the steps to efficiently share invoices with documents?

☝️ The creation of invoicing contacts by customer will allow you to send the invoice to the right people. You will only have these dedicated contacts to choose from when sending the invoice.
Go to the address book in the Client file.
Click on "new contact" at the top right of the screen
Fill in the details of your billing contact, making sure to include an email address and to choose the "billing" role
You can choose to set up a contact who will automatically be informed when the invoice is shared or sent out :
Add attached documents to an invoice
You can now add attached documents to your invoice.
To do this, click on the invoice concerned and add your documents there:
Once added, you have the option of adding or deleting them:
Share the invoice and its documents by email
When sharing your invoices, you have the option of sending them simply, from the details of an invoice, or sending them en masse from the "My invoices" menu.
a. Sharing an invoice
From the "my invoices" menu, choose the invoice to share.

Once your invoice is open (draft, finalized or paid), click on the "share" button at the top of the page
On the window that opens, you have the following choices:
link to the invoice web page
send by email from Dashdoc to your billing contact
For the link to the invoice web page, by sharing this link with your contacts, they will be able to consult a web page containing the summary of the invoice and the transport documents to be downloaded.
For sharing by email, a drop-down list gives you access to the invoicing contacts created in the client's file.
You can also add a new recipient email at the moment by typing directly in this drop-down list. Click on "add mail" to save it.
To include invoice-related documents, check the box under the billing emails choice. You then choose which documents to share by checking or unchecking the document types.
If the size of the documents remains under 5MB, they will be added as an attachment to the email.
On the other hand, if it exceeds 5MB, the documents will be downloadable as a zip file via a download link.
Finish your submission by clicking on "share"!
b. Sharing your invoices en masse
Select several invoices in your global view. Click on "More actions > Share or Relaunch" :
Control your sending from Dashdoc
When sharing your invoices and documents by email from Dashdoc, the status of the email is displayed.
The different possible sending statuses are :
is being sent
received with date and time - by moving the mouse over the green check mark, the details of the recipient and the status of the sent invoice are displayed
error : the email could not be delivered (incorrect email, automatic anti-spam barrier ...)
Note that the statuses are also visible with the details from the menu my invoices with the general list of edited invoices.
