Dashdoc prices

On Dashdoc, whether you're a principal or a carrier, you can add prices to transport orders.

On a self-operated transport

As the carrier of a transport, you can enter an invoiced price as soon as the transport is created.

You can add several price lines, as well as a fuel surcharge.

If the transport has been created by a customer from their Dashdoc portal, the agreed upon price entered by the customer is copied into the carrier's invoiced price when the carrier accepts the transport.

Once the shipment has been accepted, the two prices (agreed and invoiced) become independent: a change in one will have no impact on the other.

The Dashdoc mobile app only displays essential information to the driver's mission, such as pickup/delivery points, documents, comments, and so on.

⚠️ Drivers do not have access to transport prices in their Dashdoc app.

On a subcontracted / chartered transport

1.Agreed upon price

  • This is the price set when the transport order is created.

  • It serves as the contractual reference between the parties.

  • The carrier can see it (read-only).

2.Invoiced price

  • When the carrier accepts the job, the agreed upon price is automatically copied into the invoiced price.

  • Then:

    • the invoiced price becomes editable by the carrier

    • it is used for the actual invoicing of the transport

👉 Once the transport is accepted, changing one has no impact on the other. The agreed upon price remains fixed (initial reference), and the invoiced price can evolve independently.

3.Final price

  • This is a “priority” price used for internal calculations (costs, margins).

  • It replaces the invoiced price in calculations in two cases:

    • if the carrier has not entered an invoiced price in the Dashdoc tool

    • in case of disagreement or correction

Summary

  • Agreed upon price = starting price / reference

  • Invoiced price = actual price entered by the carrier

  • Final price = price used for calculations (takes priority over the invoiced price if needed)
