Create a standard transport template

Save time when entering data by creating transport templates for each customer for all your regular transports!

⏱️ Do you have regular transport assignments for the same client and want to save time when entering your orders? 

Create and manage standard transport templates from a dedicated menu in your Dashdoc TMS. These standard transports will be suggested to you when you create your transport orders.

From the ‘Transport templates’ menu, you have access to two types of templates:

  • A standard template for regular transport operations. Standard templates save you time when entering data by providing all the information previously defined in that template.

  • Recurring lanes for creating a large number of transport operations while respecting the parameters of each route, such as the period, frequency, etc. More information here 👈



Create a standard transport template:

From the ‘Transport templates’ menu:

You can create a new template from the ‘Transport templates’ menu by clicking on the ‘+ Create template’ button:

Using this form, you can add:

1: The name of your model *

2: A principal *

3: A rate

4: Your own means of transport 🆕

5: Pick-up * and delivery points, with estimated dates and times between D and D+7 🆕

6: A break in load

From an existing transport

  • You can convert any shipment created on the web platform, regardless of its status, into a standard shipment template. To do so:

  • Open your shipment details.

  • Click on ‘More actions’ > ‘New template’

  • Add a name to your template.

  • Modify the pre-filled fields if necessary

  • Click on ‘Create template’

From your address book:

You can also view or create a transport template from your partner file:

Using a standard transport template:

  • When filling in the transport creation form, if you enter a client for whom transport templates have been configured:

  • You can also create bulk transports from the ‘Transport templates’ menu:

View the history of transport orders created:

By clicking on the ‘History’ button, you can view the history of transport orders created from your regular routes. You can then filter these transport orders to save time:
