The Tariffs allow you to record price lines that apply automatically or not according to one or more criteria.
Create a Tariff
In the Pricing tab, click on Tariffs and then on Add a Tariff.
As with the tariff grids, you can create a sales or purchase Tariff.
Choose the name of your tariff, the type of date on which the price should apply, based on loading/unloading dates, requested, scheduled, or actual, then the exact date you want this tariff to apply.
Adding Terms and Conditions
First, choose whether this rate should apply automatically if the conditions are met in an order, or if you want this rate to be offered only in the price window so you can add it manually if needed.
You can then add application conditions to your rate, which can be based on the following criteria:
Order givers
Origin/Destination (specific address, postal code, country)
Goods
Label
Requested vehicle
Metric (distance, transport duration, number of deliveries, etc.)
The criteria are cumulative, and each condition can contain multiple proposals.
Example: Rate applicable for 3 clients to be billed from department 75 for delivery in the surrounding departments (91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 77, 78) with a delivery by carrier.
Adding Price Lines
A rate can contain multiple simple price lines and tariff grids.
Simple Price Line
Each price line can have different metrics, and these can also include additional application conditions.
To add a price line, you must fill in the following fields:
Internal name of the price line
Billing product associated with the price line
Metric (fixed price, quantity, weight, meters, volume, etc.)
Price (fixed or variable depending on the chosen metric)
Fuel surcharge applicable or not on this price line
Scope of application (a global line, by type of goods, by goods, by delivery)
Ex: Flat rate of €300 with fuel surcharge included without additional conditions
If you have specific price lines that apply under certain conditions, you can create additional price lines.
Example: €50 surcharge if tailgate delivery
Tariff Grid
To create your tariff grid, click on Add a price line then Tariff Grid.
You must fill in the following fields:
Internal name of the price line
Billing product associated with the price line
Then click on Add the grid, a new window opens and you can define
Axes of your grid (units of columns/rows)
Price settings (variable or fixed)
Min/max quantity if price is variable
Examples:
Origin/Destination grid with variable price based on the weight loaded in tons
Rental grid for vehicle with half-day/full-day package depending on the vehicle
Grid with variable per km depending on the origin and loaded linear meters
Once the grid is created, you can add:
additional application conditions
application scope (a line for transport, the farthest, the most expensive,...)
determine if a fuel surcharge should apply automatically or not
Price lines (simple or grids) can be duplicated to save you time and only modify criteria or amounts.
Threshold Line
You need to trigger one or more price lines if certain thresholds are exceeded:
Beyond 300 km, apply x€ per additional kilometer
Door opening
Overtime hours
etc...
All this is possible thanks to the threshold line in your tariff. Click on Add a price line and Threshold.
You need to fill in the following fields:
Internal name of the price line
Billing product associated with the price line
Choice of metric (distance, duration, number of stops, etc.)
Example: Beyond an intermediate stop, I charge €30 per stop
You can also add additional conditions here, whether they are geographical criteria, distance limits, duration, etc...
Threshold lines allow you to automate the application of your additional billing lines according to your criteria.
Create Versions
You can create new versions of your rates in case of tariff changes.
Click on Create a new version and choose the application date.
